Your Questions, Answered

From everywhere it can be found and saved. Estate sales, studio clean-outs, businesses closing their doors, annual sales, quiet corners of marketplaces. We’re always looking for glass with a past and potential. If you have glass looking for a second chance, we’d love to hear from you.
-
No. The glass we work with is art glass, industrial glass, or glass made specifically for fusing. Each type has its own rules — some must lie flat, others must melt in perfect harmony. Compatibility matters when you’re working with fire.
-
Yes. Even when a form is familiar, the glass decides the final story. Color shifts, textures catch the light differently, and hand-cut lines make each piece unmistakably its own.
-
Every step. From the first sketch to the final polish, each piece is cut, assembled, soldered, fired, and finished by hand in our studio. No factories. No shortcuts. Just time, skill, and care.
-
Stained glass is built piece by piece, joined together with metal, light passing through the seams.
Fused glass is transformed by heat, layered and melted together in a kiln until separate parts become one.
-
In the light. Windows, walls, quiet corners where the sun can find it. We recommend avoiding extreme heat or outdoor exposure unless a piece is designed for that purpose. Feel free to ask about a specific piece.
-
We do. Some stories start with a clear vision. Others begin as a feeling or an idea. We’re happy to meet you wherever you are and create something together.
-
Gently. A soft, dry cloth for everyday care. A slightly damp cloth with mild soap when needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners — time will do the rest.
-
Yes. Every piece is carefully wrapped, layered, and protected so it arrives safely, ready to catch the light again.
